Abstract:
Provided is a gasket with which the service life in terms of the sealing performance can be increased. This gasket 100, which seals a gap between an attachment member 200 and secured member 300 which are secured to one another, is characterized by being equipped with: an annular gasket main body section 11, which is mounted in an annular groove section 210 provide in the attachment member 200, and adheres to a groove bottom surface 210a of the annular groove section 210 and an end surface 310 of the secured member 300; and an auxiliary seal section 12, which extends from the gasket main body section 11 toward a non-sealed-region side on the opposite side from a sealed-region side, and which adheres to an end surface 220 closer to the non-sealed-region side than the annular groove section 210 of the attachment member 200, and to the end surface 310 of the secured member 300.
