Abstract:
The present invention is a technology that enables gate drive current suppression and breakthrough prevention in a drive circuit that drives a power device. A gate drive circuit has: a first switching element; a second switching element; a third switching element; a fourth switching element; and a capacitor. The source of the first switching element is connected to a first voltage, and the drain is connected to a gate electrode of a main switching element. The source of the second switching element is connected to a second voltage, and the drain is connected to the gate electrode of the main switching element. The source of the third switching element is connected to the first voltage, and the drain is connected to a first electrode of the capacitor. The source of the fourth switching element is connected to the second voltage, and the drain is connected to the first electrode of the capacitor and the drain of the third switching element. A second electrode of the capacitor is connected to the gate electrode of the main switching element.
