Abstract:
The disclosed gate valve contains: a valve box (10, 10a, 10b) that has a hollow section (11), a first aperture section (12a) and second aperture section (12b) provided so as to sandwich the aforementioned hollow section (11), an inner surface formed on the perimeter of the aforementioned first aperture section (12a), and a duct (H) that passes through the aforementioned hollow section (11), the aforementioned first aperture section (12a), and the aforementioned second aperture section (12b); a support body (30) disposed within the aforementioned hollow section (11); a fixed valve section (50) affixed to the aforementioned support body (30); a mobile valve section (60) that is disposed in a manner that encloses the outer perimeter of the aforementioned fixed valve section (50) and that slides in the direction in which the aforementioned duct (H) extends; a valve plate (40) that has a first perimeter region (40a) and a second perimeter region (40b); a first energizing section (70) that is disposed at the aforementioned first perimeter region (40a), moves the aforementioned mobile valve section (60) towards the aforementioned first aperture section (12a), causes the aforementioned mobile valve section (60) to contact the aforementioned inner surface, pushes the aforementioned mobile valve section (60) against the aforementioned inner surface, closing the aforementioned duct (H); and a second energizing section (80) that is disposed at the aforementioned second perimeter region (40b), and opens the aforementioned duct (H) by moving the aforementioned mobile valve section (60) towards the aforementioned second aperture section (12b), separating the aforementioned mobile valve section (60) from the aforementioned inner surface.
