Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communications, and in particular, to a gateway device, for use in providing a multi-system SmallCell gateway under NFV architecture. In the embodiments of the present invention, the gateway device comprises: a master switch; a master computing node connected the master switch and a base station; and a master control node connected to the master switch and used for controlling the master computing node. At least one first virtual machine runs on the master computing node. The base station can access a core network connected to the master computing node, by means of a first module having a security gateway function and a second module having a signaling gateway function included in the at least one first virtual machine, so as to avoid the configuration of dedicated hardware.
