Abstract:
A gear device constructed from a reduced number of parts so as to be low in cost.
Externally toothed gears (18X, 18Y) each have teeth the number of which is different
from the number of the teeth of an internally toothed gear (48) and are maintained
meshed with the internally toothed gear (48). In the externally toothed gears
(18X, 18Y) are formed center through-holes and offset through-holes (19X, 19Y).
A columnar member (46) of a carrier passes through the offset through-holes
(19X, 19Y) of the externally toothed gears (18X, 18Y). A pair of support members
(42X, 42Y) of the carrier supports both ends of the columnar member (46). A pair
of depressions is formed in the surface of a shaft of a crank member (14), and the
depressions are at positions holding an eccentric member between them. A rolling
body (8X, 8Y) and an outer ring (6X, 6Y) are arranged between the support member
(42X, 42Y) and the depression. The shaft of the crank member (14) is supported
so as to be rotatable relative to the carrier and not movable in the axial direction.
