Abstract:
A wheel accommodation portion (25) of a gear housing (16) comprises a cylindrical portion (28) for a wheel and a disk-shaped bottom portion (29) for the wheel. A first virtual straight line (L1) has, as a start point, a center portion of the wheel accommodation portion (25) and is orthogonal to the center axis of a worm accommodation portion (26) as viewed from one side of the wheel accommodation portion (25) in the axial direction, a reference virtual straight line (Lb) passes through the center portion of the wheel accommodation portion (25), and an angle of an opening between the reference virtual straight line (Lb) and the first virtual straight line (L1) is 0°-60°, the thickness of at least one part of the bottom portion (29) for the wheel decreases from the close side toward the far side with respect to the worm accommodation portion (26) in the direction of the reference virtual straight line (Lb).
