Abstract:
Provided is a gear housing comprising a gear housing body (14) for housing gears. The gear housing is characterized in that: shaft holes (39) for supporting shafts are formed in sidewalls (21) of the gear housing body (14); affixation sections (35) for mounting affixation members therein are provided on the gear housing body (14), the affixation members being used to install the gear housing body (14) on an installation surface (29) parallel to the shafts; and output hole reinforcement ribs (43) are formed on the sidewalls (21), the output hole reinforcement ribs (43) extending toward the affixation sections (35) from the peripheral edges (41) of output shaft holes (39D) from among the shaft holes (39), the output shaft holes (39D) supporting an output shaft (17).
