Abstract:
This gear support member reduces noise caused by a rattling sound. An idle shaft (1) has: a support (4) that rotatably supports an idle gear (10); and a base (6) that is a different body from the support (4) and is provided between the support (4) and a cylinder block (40). The support (4) is fixed to the cylinder block (40) while in a state of being in contact with the base (6).
