Abstract:

A gear-type flexible shaft coupling comprising two external gears and two internal gears respectively engaging the two external gears. The tooth base crowning radius of the external gears is smaller than the tooth crest crowing radius of the external gears, and the external gears are formed such that the standard tooth height, which is the tooth height in the center position in the tooth width direction, is less than the end tooth height, which is the tooth height at the end position of the tooth in the tooth width direction. The ratio of the end tooth height to the standard tooth height is set to 1.21 or greater, and/or the ratio Rc/Rb of the tooth base crowning radius to the tooth crest crowning radius is set to 0.37 or less.
