Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a gel-type composition for hair which easily crumbles, gives a fresh feeling to hands and is highly compatible with hair.
[Solution] A gel-type composition for hair comprising an anionic polymer (A), a cationic polymer (B) and water (C), wherein: the content of the anionic polymer (A) is controlled to from 0.2 mass% inclusive to 1.0 mass% exclusive relative to 100 mass% of the gel-type composition for hair; when the anionic polymer (A) alone is dissolved or dispersed in water (C) and then the obtained solution or dispersion is neutralized, the viscosity is 1550-170000 mPa.s inclusive; the ratio of the cationic polymer (B) to the anionic polymer (A) is controlled to 0.17-1.80 inclusive: the viscosity of the gel-type composition for hair is 1.0-8.0 times exclusive as high as the viscosity of the solution or dispersion obtained by dissolving or dispersing the anionic polymer (A) alone in water (C) followed by neutralization; and the pH value thereof at 25°C is 5.50-8.20 inclusive.
