Abstract:
A gem bearing structure for simpler attachment of gems and freer designing, provided with a ring member (3) having a gem retainer portion (2), a first gem (4) retained by the gem retainer portion (2), and a second gem (7) fixed to the ring member (3) via a bonding agent (5) and having a locking portion (6) adapted to engage the first gem (4) when the second gem is fixed to the ring member, wherein the second gem has so high a transparency when the locking portion (6) engages the first gem (4) that the first gem (4) can be observed in the engaged position from the outside.
