Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a promotor capable of efficiently expressing genes, in Bifidobacterium genus bacteria. In the present invention, a promotor including a TTGNNN motif and a TATANT motif located downstream of the TTGNNN motif, preferably a promotor including a TTGTGC motif and a TATAAT motif located 11 or 17 bases downstream from the TTGTGC motif, is used as a gene expression promotor for Bifidobacterium genus bacteria.
