Abstract:

A method for implementing the authentication in a general authentication former, includes: the entity attestation center determines the authentication modes that both the current network and the entity requiring the authentication request support according to the authentication mode provided and supported by the authentication request entity and the authentication mode provided and supported by the current network, then selects one authentication mode from the determined modes to authenticate with the entity requiring the authentication. The method of this invention adds the selection process of the authentication mode in the authentication process to make the application of the authentication former broader and can provide more selection for the network configuration and application of the operator because of the usage of multi-usage of the authentication modes. The general authentication former of this invention can make the application server in the network provide service for the general user and the request service from other servers, so that all the resources in the network are used well. .
