Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to make specification of a version number correspondence relationship among data simple. For a specification (a), a source (b), and a source (c), a version administration system (100) associates files with a combination of file identification information and a file version number, and accumulates same. Upon receiving a version number update request for the specification (a), a generation device (101) determines a new version number 3 for the specification (a), and updates the version number of the specification (a) to 3. Thereafter, upon determining that the specification (a) has been received, the generation device (101) generates linking information (104) which links the combination of the identification information and the version number 3 of the specification (a), the combination of the identification information and the version number 3 of the source (b), and the combination of the identification information and the version number 2 of the source (c).
