Abstract:
The present invention relates to a genuine product identification system and method. The present invention comprises a producer terminal, a buyer terminal, and a genuine product verification server, wherein the genuine product verification server: receives a request for a genuine product identification code while receiving product information from a producer through the producer terminal; generates a password and the genuine product identification code corresponding to the product information and issues same to the producer through the producer terminal; receives a request to verify whether a product is genuine, while receiving, from a buyer through a buyer terminal, an input of the password and the genuine product identification code provided by the producer; compares verification reference information stored in a verification DB with the password and the genuine product identification code input from the buyer through the buyer terminal, and verifies whether the product is genuine; and then provides information on a result of the verification of whether the product is genuine to the buyer through the buyer terminal. According to the present invention, not only a buyer buying a product at an online shopping mall including an open market in a contactless manner but also a buyer buying a product at an offline store in a face-to-face manner can simply and accurately identify whether a product is genuine, and a problem that a producer producing a genuine product gets a disadvantage in credit and business because a forgery produced by copying the producer's product is distributed in a market can be solved.
