Abstract:
Disclosed is a geomagnetism detection device that is provided with a correction means that can correct offset deviation arising after calibration. The geomagnetism detection device is characterized by the correction means, which corrects offset deviation, determining a new reference point by means of repeating a process of setting as a target position a coordinate position moved the distance of the radius (R) of an imaginary circle or imaginary sphere over an imaginary line that passes through a reference point from a first output coordinate point among a plurality of extracted coordinate points, and then using the coordinate position moved the distance of the radius (R) over an imaginary line passing through the target position from each output coordinate point as a new target position.
