Abstract:
A gesture determining device 100 comprises: a reference portion detecting unit 10 that outputs reference portion information Am(K) indicating a reference portion region; a motion extracting unit 20 that outputs motion information Bm(k) indicating a motion region; a reference portion disappearance determining unit 30 that generates a reference portion disappearance determination result Cm(k); a timing determining unit 40 that determines whether or not a first timing indicated by reference portion disappearance information is synchronized with a second timing of the occurrence of a frame in which the motion region overlaps the reference portion region indicated by the reference portion information, and that outputs a timing determination result Dm(k) which is the determination result; and an operation determining unit 50 that determines the details of a gesture operation performed by an operator on the basis of the timing determination result and the motion information.
