Abstract:
Provided are a glass break detection device and detection method. The device comprises a first packaging housing with a first accommodating space, an MEMS microphone and a first ASIC chip mounted in the first accommodating space, a second packaging housing with a second accommodating space, a pressure sensor and a second ASIC chip mounted in the second accommodating space, and a DSP chip electrically connected to the MEMS microphone and the pressure sensor. The first packaging housing is provided with a first sound inlet hole, and the second packaging housing is provided with a second sound inlet hole, wherein the size of the first sound inlet hole is greater than the size of the second sound inlet hole, such that the time when a sound reaches the MEMS microphone is earlier than the time when the sound reaches the pressure sensor. By means of the glass break detection device and method, energy consumption can be reduced, and accurate detection of the breaking of glass can be realized.
