Abstract:
Provided is a glass ceramic composition which enables the production of a substrate that is used for a light-emitting element and has high reflectivity and high heat conductivity, and which can prevent the occurrence of breakage of a substrate for a light-emitting element during the production process thereof.
A glass ceramic composition for use in the production of a substrate on which a light-emitting element is to be mounted, which comprises a glass powder in an amount of 30-45 mass%, an alumina powder in an amount of 35-50 mass% and a zirconia powder in an amount of 10-30 mass% all relative to the total amount of the glass powder, the alumina powder and the zirconia powder, wherein the zirconia powder has an average particle diameter of one-fourth or less of that of the alumina powder.
