Abstract:
The present invention relates to vitrification of radioactive waste. According to the present invention, by providing a glass composition appropriate for a low-level radioactive waste resin and a method for vitrifying a low-level radioactive waste resin using same, the volume of radioactive waste can be significantly reduced, and the leakage of radioactive material from a solidified glass body can be maximally delayed or completely prevented by vitrifying low-level radioactive waste using the glass composition appropriate for the vitrification of the low-level radioactive waste resin.
