Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a glass panel unit assembly, a production method for a glass panel unit, a glass panel unit in process, and a glass panel unit that make it possible to improve yield. A glass panel unit assembly (100) that comprises a pair of facing glass substrates (200, 300), a peripheral wall (410), partitions (420a–420p), airflow passages (600), and an evacuation port (700). The peripheral wall (410) is frame-shaped and is between the pair of glass substrates (200, 300). The partitions (420a–420p) partition an internal space (500) that is enclosed by the pair of glass substrates (200, 300) and the peripheral wall (410) into first spaces (510a–510g) and second spaces (520a, 520b). The airflow passages (600) connect the first spaces (510a–510g) and the second spaces (520a, 520b). The evacuation port (700) connects the second spaces (520a, 520b) and an external space. The partitions (420a–420p) are wider than the peripheral wall (410).
