Abstract:
This glass panel unit 10 is provided with a first glass panel 20, a second glass panel 30, a seal 40, a vacuum space 50 and a gas adsorbent 60. The seal 40 bonds the first glass panel 20 and the second glass panel 30 together into a frame shape in an airtight manner. The gas adsorbent 60 is arranged inside of the vacuum space 50. The gas adsorbent 60 has a getter. The gas adsorbent 60 is visible through the first glass panel 20 and/or the second glass panel 30. Upon adsorbing gas, the gas adsorbent 60 changes color.
