Abstract:
Disclosed is a glass paste which has improved binder burn-out properties when subjected to a glass paste firing process. The glass paste comprises a lead-free glass powder, a salt or complex of at least one metal selected from a group consisting of Cr, Fe, Co, Cu, Sn and Ce, and an organic binder, wherein the glass powder is a B2O3-SiO2-R2O glass powder which contains B2O3 in an amount of 35 mol% or more, SiO2 in an amount of 30 mol% or more, and an R2O component in the total amount of 12 mol% or less in terms of oxide contents and also contains CuO. In the glass paste, the R2O component comprises at least one compound selected from Li2O, Na2O and K2O.
