Abstract:
Disclosed is a strong glass plate for use in shatterproof glass that is inserted into the frame of a vehicle in a flush-mounted configuration. The disclosed glass plate has a maximum flat compression stress of 10-18 MPa at the edges thereof, and a maximum flat compression stress of 2.4 MPa or less in the region to the inside of the edges thereof.
