Abstract:
The glass plate provided with a coating film according to the present invention comprises a glass plate and a coating film with a smooth surface, said coating film being formed on at least one main surface of the glass plate. The coating film comprises isolated and closed pores contained within the film and a matrix. The coating film is substantially free from open pores that are opened to the front surface of the coating film. In the glass plate provided with a coating film according to the present invention, a transmission gain, which is calculated by subtracting average transmission at the time of making light with a wavelength of 380-1100 nm incident on the glass plate not provided with the coating film on the surface from average transmission at the time of making light with the same wavelength incident on the glass plate provided with the coating film from the coating film side, is 2.5% or greater.
