Abstract:
A scribing device is equipped with: a horizontal table (3) to which a glass plate (2) is affixed by means of vacuum adsorption; a feed screw (5) and Y-axis control motor (6) for moving the table (3) along guide rails (4, 4) under numerical control; a guide rail apparatus (7) provided so as to be suspended above the table (3) in the X-axis direction; a carriage (8) that is attached to the guide rail apparatus (7) so as to be guided in the X-axis direction; a feed screw and X-axis control motor (9) for moving the carriage (8) in the X-axis direction under numerical control; and a scribing head (10) that is mounted to the carriage (8).
