Abstract:
The invention related to a glass platform and a metal stand connection apparatus consisting of a flange (1) positioned to the lower portion of the glass platform (4) to form a whole with the glass platform (4); a table stand (2) made of metal comprising a flange slot (2.1) and a screw slot (2.2) within its structure; and a screw (3), and enabling that the glass platform (4) and the metal table stands (2) can be assembled on demand and also disassembled on demand.

Claims:
CLAIMS

A glass platform and a metal stand connection apparatus characterized in that they consist of a flange (1) positioned to the lower portion of the glass platform (4) to form a whole with the glass platform (4); a table stand (2) made of metal comprising a flange slot (2.1) and a screw slot (2.2) within its structure; and a screw (3).

The table stand (2) according to claim 1 characterized in that it has a flange slot (2.1) appropriate for form and dimensions of the flange (1) on top.

The table stand (2) according to claim 1 characterized in that it has a screw slot (2.2) on side surface that has appropriate measurements for form and dimensions of the screw (3) and has a threaded structure.

DESCRIPTION

GLASS PLATFORM AND METAL STAND CONNECTION APPARATUS

This invention relates to glass table and metal stand connection apparatus disassembling connection of the glass platform-tables with metal stands, and enabling reassembly on demand.

STATE OF ART Installment of furniture structures such as table, coffee table, etc. is enabled with placement of the stands into grooves opened on the bottom portion of table platform by means of adhesive materials and/or connection members such as screw, nail, etc. With such furniture connection, furniture platform portion and furniture stand portion form a uniform structure.

There are disadvantages in terms of transport and storage of thus produced furniture. Such transport of the furniture causes work force and time loss.

On the other hand, there is great space requirement for transport and storage of uniform furniture.

There are also difficulties for displacement, moving etc. situations of this furniture having a uniform structure as mentioned in terms of user thereof. Due to abovementioned disadvantages, furniture structures have been designed that can be disassembled from stands thereof over time.

An invention titled "Stand connection apparatus of such furniture products as table and coffee table" numbered 2015/08042 is an example for such structures. In said invention, a connection apparatus was mentioned enabling angled fixation of stands that are processed as flat in lathe workbench under furniture products such as table and coffee table.

In an invention titled "Slide-in connection apparatus assembling table upper platform to table stand" numbered 2013/09160, a slide-in connection apparatus consisting of table stand, table platform, poppet platform mounting piece, apparatus body and slide enabling disassembled connection of stand portion of tables to upper platform.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

Object of this invention is to decrease work force, time and space requirement during transport and storage by disassembling connection of the glass platform-tables with metal stands, and enabling reassembly on demand. Another object of the invention is to enable use of the furniture stand structures without any falls or swinging thanks to bolted flanged attached onto the glass platform.

4. Glass platform DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The glass platform and the metal stand connection apparatus of the invention consist of a flange (1) positioned to the lower portion of the glass platform (4) to form a whole with the glass platform (4); a table stand (2) made of metal comprising a flange slot (2.1) and a screw slot (2.2) within its structure; and a screw (3). The bolted flange (1) is positioned in the lower portion of the glass platform (4) to form a whole. On top of the table stand (2), there is the flange slot (2.1) appropriate for form and dimensions of the flange (1). The bolted portion of the flange (1) positioned to the glass platform (4) rests on the flange slot (2.1) on the table stand (1), enabling assembly of the platform (4) and the stands. Afterwards, the bolted portion of the flange (1) is compressed with the screw (3) inserted horizontally from the screw slot (2.2) and fixation of the glass platform (4) and the table stand (2) is enabled.

The screw slot (2.2) on side surface of the table stand has appropriate measurements for form and dimensions of the screw (3) and has a threaded structure. Thanks to the glass platform and metal stand connection apparatus, the glass platform (4) and the metal table stands (2) can be assembled on demand and also disassembled on demand.

Such disassembly of the table stands (2) enables both safer transport and easy storage and stackability of the glass platform (4).

The glass platform and the metal stand connection apparatus can be applied for a single table stand (2), and can also be used in structures with more than one stand.
