Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a glass sheet that comprises a first principal surface, a second principal surface, and an end surface connecting the first principal surface and the second principal surface and that has a compressive stress layer. In the glass sheet, the longest crack length in a region, which ranges from a portion located apart from an edge of the end surface at the first principal surface side by a length equal to 9% of the thickness toward the second principal surface side to a portion located apart from the edge of the end surface at the first principal surface by a length equal to 91% of the thickness toward the second principal surface side, is 5-20 μm, and the longest crack length in a region, which ranges from an edge of the end surface at the second principal surface side to a portion located apart from the edge of the end surface at the second principal surface side by a length equal to 6% of the thickness toward the first principal surface side, satisfies a specific formula.
