Abstract:
This method for producing a glass sheet laminate formed by integrally laminating two glass sheets (2, 3) involves: laminating the two glass sheets (2, 3) by bringing the surfaces near the outer peripheral sections into contact with each other, and severing and removing parts of surface contact sections (9) by laser cutting, under circumstance in which the surface roughness (Ra) of the surface contact sections (9) is set at 2.0 nm or less; and processing the severed end faces of the surface contact sections (9) into curved surfaces, and sealing the severed end faces using heat generated during laser cutting.
