A glass sheet having a low reflection coating composed of two layers, characterized in that it exhibits a visible light transmissivity of 70 % or more and an insolation transmissivity of 55 % or less, the value obtained by deducing a visible light transmissivity of the glass sheet freed of the low reflection coating from the above visible light transmissivity is 2 % or more, and it contains iron oxides in an amount of 0.3 to 1 mass % in terms of Fe₂O₃. The glass sheet allows the increase in the absorption of insolation by that corresponding to the transmissivity increased due to the low reflection coating.
