Glasses and a control method therefor. The glasses comprise lenses (11, 12), an image capture device (13) and a lens frame (14). The lenses (11, 12) and the image capture device (13) are respectively located on the lens frame (14). The lenses (11, 12) are transparent display screens. The control method for the glasses comprises: detecting the light intensity of ambient light (201); according to the light intensity of the ambient light and the current light transmittance of the glasses, obtaining the current light intensity of transmitted light after the ambient light passes through the lenses (11, 12) (202); when the current light intensity is greater than or equal to selected light intensity, adjusting the light transmittance of the lenses (11, 12) to cause the light intensity of the transmitted light to be the selected light intensity (203); when the current light intensity is less than the selected light intensity, starting up the image capture device (13) to obtain environment images (204); enhancing the environment images to obtain enhanced environment images (205); and controlling the lenses (11, 12) to display according to the enhanced environment images (206). Therefore, users may see surrounding environment information clearly in both strongly lit environments and dimly lit environments.
