Abstract:
Disclosed is a glasses-free 3D display method and system comprising: decoding a 3D signal to obtain an original 3D video signal (S100); performing signal separation, image enhancement and frame classification/interpolation on the original 3D video signal to obtain an L image and an R image respectively (S200); acquiring depth information of a target object in the L image and the R image, and estimating the depth information of each pixel point to form a corresponding depth map; estimating to obtain a plurality of L viewpoint images according to the L image and the corresponding depth map, and estimating to obtain a plurality of R viewpoint images according to the R image and the corresponding depth map; interlacing the plurality of L viewpoint images and the plurality of R viewpoint images to form a composite image comprising a plurality of viewpoints (S300); performing frame interpolation/frequency doubling and image calibration on the composite image, and sending the composite image to a glasses-free 3D display device for display (S400). The method has the advantage of highly-effective conversion of glasses-free 3D viewpoints with low resource consumption, high resolution 3D display, stable and smooth playing, low cost, and a broad range of applications.
