Abstract:
The skis of a pair of skis (10a, 10b) are movably connected to each other by at least one coupling system (140) secured on the skis in front of or behind the ski-binding area, in such a way that the longitudinal centre axes of both skis always remain parallel to each other during a longitudinal movement of one ski (10a) with respect to the other (10b), and such that the rotation of the running surfaces (11a, 11b) of both skis from the flat position of the running surfaces onto the edges and back again always takes place in the same direction of rotation and with the same angle. In this way, extreme forces that arise during skiing are taken up by both legs, the skis cannot cross each other, and no edge errors occur. The number of errors and therefore the number of falls is reduced, and there is less risk of an accident. Moreover, the learning process is made shorter, and a sense of success comes more quickly.
