Abstract:
A glint detection method is disclosed. A glint detection method, according to one embodiment of the present invention, relates to a method for detecting a glint from an iris image, which is photographed prior to an authentication procedure, by using an iris image of a human body. In addition, the glint detection method according to one embodiment of the present invention removes, in advance, the iris image, in which the user authentication cannot be performed due to the glint, thereby increasing a recognition rate and reducing an error rate.
