Abstract:
In a gloss evaluation method and device according to the present invention, the strength (P) of specularly reflected light obtained by irradiating an object under measurement with irradiation light having a spectral irradiance of a reference device is determined from the strength of specularly reflected light obtained by irradiating the object under measurement with first irradiation light of the spectral irradiance of the gloss evaluation device on the basis of the strength of dispersed reflected light obtained by irradiating the object under measurement with first irradiation light and the spectral reflectivity of diffusely reflected light obtained by irradiating the object under measurement with prescribed second irradiation light at a different irradiation angle.
