Abstract:

A glow plug comprises: a heater driving shaft for supplying power to a heater; a pressure detecting element provided at an axial direction end portion of the heater driving shaft and converting the pressure that the heater driving shaft receives in the axial direction to an electric signal; a first insulating member having insulating properties, surrounding the outer circumference of the pressure detecting element with respect to the axis, and projecting a signal output terminal of the pressure detecting element to the outer circumference side of the axis; a power supply line provided on the outer circumference side of the first insulating member with respect to the axis and connected to the heater driving shaft to supply power to the heater; a signal processing circuit provided on the outer circumference side of the power supply line with respect to the axis and connected to the signal output terminal to process the electric signal of the pressure detecting element; and a second insulating member provided between the power supply line and the signal processing circuit and isolating between the signal processing circuit and the power supply line.
