Abstract:
Stabilized gluing can be always ensured with no excessive contact pressure imparted to a joint flap at the time of gluing even if the paper type of a corrugated board sheet is changed due to a change in order in the gluing step of a carton former line that uses a glue gun of a contact type. A gluing method for a corrugated board sheet wherein the gluing part in the joint flap at the side end of a corrugated board sheet (S) traveling on a carton former line is coated with glue using a glue gun of a contact type, the gluing method comprising imparting a pressure (P1), by a first pressure device (15), to the corrugated board sheet (S) in the direction of offsetting the weight of the glue gun (12) being loaded to the corrugated board sheet at the time of gluing, detecting a reaction from the joint flap (f) by a reaction sensor (36) provided on a corrugated board sheet travel line (PL) on the upstream side of the glue gun in the traveling direction of a corrugated board sheet, and then gluing the corrugated board sheet by means of the glue gun (12) while a pressure (P2), which is set according to the detection value of the reaction, is imparted to the joint flap (f) of the corrugated board sheet (S) by a second pressure device (21) provided near the gluing position.
