Title:
GOLD CARBENE COMPLEX AND ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENTS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/046769
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a gold carbene complex useful as a light-emitting material for phosphorescent organic electroluminescent elements, said gold carbene complex exhibiting a maximum electroluminescent peak in a deep-blue region of 440nm or shorter, which is important to the completion of a full-color display, and exhibiting a luminescent color that corresponds to a "y" chromaticity coordinate of less than 0.18 as defined by the CIE (Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage) standard colorimetric system. The gold carbene complex is represented by general formula (1).
