Abstract:
Disclosed is an inexpensive golf club grip cover apparatus that, when placed upon a golf club grip during golf play in the rain, prevents the golf club grip from getting wet by keeping rainwater and other moisture from penetrating the golf club grip, and is also capable of absorbing moisture upon the grip in the event that the grip gets wet. The golf club grip cover comprises a cylindrical body (T) that is flexible and waterproof, is closed at one end and open at the other end, and has an interior diameter that tapers toward the other end; a linear fastener (L) that is disposed upon a predetermined lateral surface position of the cylindrical body (T) and is capable of opening and closing the entire length of the cylindrical body (T); and a water absorbent member (W) that is fitted in a detachable manner upon the inner surface of the cylindrical body (T).
