Abstract:
A golf club head (1, 101) comprising an ellipsoid of inertia (10, 110), wherein, where three major axes of the ellipsoid of inertia crossing perpendicularly to each other at an origin are designated as an axis I¿1?, axis I¿2?, and axis I¿3? in the order of decreasing magnitude of moment of inertia about these axes, the ratio (A/B) of a cross-section A provided when the ellipsoid of inertia (10, 110) is cut on a plane passing the origin and in parallel with a face surface (11, 111) to a cross-section B provided when the ellipsoid of inertia is cut on a plane including the axes I¿1? and I¿2? is 1 or more and 1.4 or less.
