Abstract:
A golf club head (20), comprising a face part (22) having a face surface (23) for hitting a golf ball. In the golf club head (20), at least the hitting part of the face surface (23) of the face part (22) for hitting the golf ball comprises a laminated structural body formed in a laminated structure in which metallic layers (50) and (62) and fiber-reinforced plastic layers (60) are laminated on each other. In the face part (22), a first tensile strength in a first direction from a toe to a heel is different from a second tensile strength in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction in the face surface, and the second tensile strength is larger than the first tensile strength.
