Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a light-weight and high-strength golf club head. [Solution] A head (2) comprising a face (4), a sole (8), and a crown (6). The face (4) has a face front surface (fs) and a face rear surface (fr). A plurality of protrusions (A) are provided in the face rear surface (fr). The protrusions (A) are dot shaped in the planar view. An arbitrary first direction and a second direction perpendicular to this first direction are defined in the planar view. Ideally, the regularity of arrangement of the protrusions (A) in the second direction is greater than the regularity of arrangement of the protrusions (A) in the first direction. Ideally, the first direction is vertical and the second direction is horizontal.
