Abstract:
According to the present invention, a golf course distance measuring system comprises: a fixed position transmitter installed at a position of a hole cup on the golf course for measuring an altitude value set by a built-in altitude sensor, transmitting a distance measuring signal and measuring distance on the basis of a radio wave arrival time of a reflected signal thereof, and then automatically designating a hole number; a portable terminal for displaying a measured moving distance to the fixed position transmitter on the basis of the signal transmitted by the fixed position transmitter, and an altitude difference, a gradient, and a moving distance with the fixed position transmitter measured by the built-in altitude sensor; and an activator installed adjacent to a tee shot area on the golf course, for updating a hole shot that corresponds to a distance to be measured for the portable terminal to the fixed position transmitter, when the portable terminal enters within a preset range.
