Abstract:
Provided is a goods conveying apparatus that prevents sudden consumption of a large amount of electrical power from a power source, and therefore electrical power can be efficiently supplied from the power source. The goods conveying apparatus conveys goods by placing goods on a trolley unit (4) which can travel along a conveyance path (3). The trolley unit (4) comprises: a travel drive means (17) for causing the trolley unit (4) to travel; and a travel capacitor means (5) for supplying electrical power to the travel drive means (17). A charging means (6) is disposed in a section (C) of the conveyance path for charging the travel capacitor means (5). The charging means (6) comprises a charging capacitor means (7) for temporarily storing electrical power supplied from a power source. Electrical power stored in the charging capacitor means (7) is supplied to the travel capacitor means (5).
