Abstract:
Disclosed is a goods transport facility which is provided with a detected body (DH) installed on the ground side to be used for providing stop control and a detected-body detector (SH1, SH2) provided on a mobile assembly (1) to detect the presence of the detected body (DH). The goods transport facility is constructed to be switchable between a first control status and a second control status in a manner such that when a fire detector means (10) detects that no goods are on fire, the first control status is maintained, whereas once the fire detector means (10) detects that goods are on fire, the status is switched over to the second control status. Here, in the first control status, a mobile assembly control means (27) provides travel control using an optical distance-measuring means (21) to control the actuation of the mobile assembly (1). In the second control status, the actuation of the mobile assembly (1) is controlled so that the mobile assembly (1) is travelled, until the detected-body detector (SH1) detects the detected body (DH) for a goods storage section (4) to which goods are to be transferred, so as to be brought into alignment with the target travel position for the goods storage section (4).
