Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a GPR1 antagonistic polypeptide, a derivative thereof and use thereof, and the present application specifically relates to sequences as shown in SEQ ID NOs: 1-8 and derivatives thereof. The derivative of the binding peptide is a product obtained by a conventional modification at the side chain group of the amino acid of a GPR1 binding peptide or at the amino terminus or carboxyl terminus of a GPR1 antagonistic polypeptide fragment, or is a product obtained by linking the GPR1 antagonistic polypeptide with a tag for detection or purification of a polypeptide or protein. The binding peptide and a derivative thereof are capable of binding GPR1 in vitro, and thus promoting the increase of cAMP concentration and inhibiting the influx of calcium (Ca2+) induced by chemerin, by blocking the binding of chemerin to GPR1, and can inhibit the proliferation of breast cancer cells, block the cell cycle thereof, promote the apoptosis of breast cancer cells, and thus provide effective therapeutic small molecule drugs for female reproductive diseases such as breast cancer, and can be widely used in the field of medicine and biology.
