Abstract:
The present invention provides a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet that, when processed into a transformer core, imparts low noise-properties under actual operating conditions. This grain-oriented electrical steel sheet has an insulation coating, wherein the insulation coating contains Si, P, O and at least one substance selected from among Mg, Ca, Ba, Sr, Zn, Al, Mn, and Co, has a crystallinity of at least 20%, and applies to the steel sheet a minimum tension of at least 10 Mpa at 100-200°C. Preferably, the insulation coating has a static friction coefficient of 0.21-0.50. It is also preferable for the insulation coating to not contain Cr.
