Abstract:

A grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with a steel sheet and an insulating coating film. The insulating coating film contains: a first metal phosphate salt, which is a metal phosphate salt of one or more metals selected from among Al, Fe, Mg, Mn, Ni and Zn; a second metal phosphate salt, which is a metal phosphate salt of one or more metals selected from among Co, Mo, V, W and Zr; and a colloidal silica. The insulating coating film does not contain a chromate salt; and the phosphoric acid dissolution amount of the insulating coating film as determined by boiling the grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet in a boiling pure water for 10 minutes, and then measuring the amount of phosphoric acid dissolved into the pure water and dividing the thus-measured amount of phosphoric acid by the area of the insulating coating film of the boiled grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet is 30 mg/m2 or less.
