Abstract:
A grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet is provided with: a base steel sheet having substantially no finish-annealed coating film on the surface thereof; an intermediate layer arranged on the surface of the base steel sheet and containing silicon oxide as the main component; and an insulation coating film arranged on the surface of the intermediate layer. The intermediate layer has such a property that the value determined by dividing the standard deviation σ of the thicknesses of the intermediate layer by the average value T of the thicknesses of the intermediate layer is 0.500 or less.
