Abstract:
Disclosed is a grain-puffing apparatus in which a pressure lid moves in the upward and downward directions by means of an operating cam directly connected to an elevation driving source, to thereby reduce the overall size of the apparatus and control the grain-pressurizing time in accordance with the type and condition of grain. The disclosed grain-puffing apparatus comprises: a main body; an elevation driving source installed in an upper portion of the main body to provide rotating force; an elevation adjustment unit having said operating cam which rotates by means of the rotating force provided by the elevation driving source, and which is installed on a front surface of the main body; and an operating rod installed on the front surface of the main body such that the operating rod is movable in the upward and downward directions between a pressurizing caldron containing grains and the operating cam, wherein the operating rod moves the pressure lid installed at an end thereof in conjunction with the rotation of the operating cam.
